Tips on How to Save Money

With the rising prices of commodities, it is a must for every household to utilize money saving schemes. This may be employed in different ways such as decreasing consumption, switching to a cheaper brand or by looking for bargains and discounts.

Personally, I opt to save by looking for the best deals, bargains, and discounts. Also here are some tips at you can use to save money. 

1. Shop ahead of time. 

When I need to purchase something, I make sure that I shop ahead of time to give me ample opportunity to look around and compare prices. Whether we admit it or not, if we are in a rush to purchase something and have no choice, we just don't care how much it will cost. 

Not to mention, we may even have to spend extra for expedited shipping. 

2. Buy in bulk

Yes, purchasing bigger quantities gives us discounts and most of the time it comes out really cheaper. The only disadvantage is if we do not have enough funds for it. 

3. Use coupons

This one is my favorite because of Groupon Coupons. With Groupon, you can get the best deals discounts and freebies. They have a lot of brands/ stores included in the list plus it is so easy to use. The system allows me to directly search what I am looking for or sort it by location.

Lazada Affiliate Marketing Visits PH’s Key Cities for Online Revolution

In preparation for Lazada’s upcoming Online Revolution Sale kicking off on Nov. 11, Val and I were invited by the Lazada Affiliate Marketing team to attend the roadshow at the SMX Convention Center. Aside from Bacolod, the roadshow also covered other key cities such as Manila, Davao, Cebu, and Iloilo.  

The attendees composed of the cities' top bloggers and influencers were given an introduction to Affiliate Marketing. We are very thankful for the opportunity to find out how we can earn while promoting Lazada.

With Lazada’s ever-growing assortment, we were happy to receive Lazada's Box of Joy. Just a little background about Lazada's Online Revolution

Hello November and Some Long Weekend Discoveries

Hi Everyone! 

Today is the first day of November which simply means that halloween is over and it's about time that we prepare for Christmas. It is also the beginning of my blog challenge where I need to write one blog post per day for the entire month of November. 

So, let me share what kept us busy for the past few days as we were very lucky to have enjoyed the long weekend. To start off, we attended the Psychology of Color Workshop last Saturday at the Philippine Mental Health Association (PMHA) where Dr. Irma Madonna Echaus was the resource speaker. We learned how colors affect our everyday life and how to properly use it. 

After the workshop, we attended the Lazada Affliate Roadshow at the SMX Convention Center. Will have a separate blog post for this but just make sure to save the date - November 11, 2016 for great deals and surprises during Lazada's Online Revolution. 

Ofcourse, long weekends would not be complete without some pampering and relaxation activities. Since I was not able to join the #NationalPamperingDay of Nail-a-holics last October 17, I decided to get a mani-pedi instead last Saturday. The Nailaholics SM Bacolod branch is giving away Dove gift packs to all their customers. Not so sure with the other branches but you can ask if they also have that promotion. 

For halloween, we celebrated it at Krispy Kreme where they gave out free KK treat bags. You can redeem by simply showing them your Krispy Kreme app. No need for coupon codes since it will automatically show on the rewards section of the app. We also had fun playing the "Feed the Monster" where you get a chance to win free donuts. 

Lastly, we also tried the newly opened Lechon Haus in SM Bacolod but we weren't so happy with the food. We ordered the Lechon Belly with unlimited rice and pancit canton. Unfortunately, the pancit was too salty and in terms of the lechon, I would still prefer the whole lechon instead of the belly.
