My Metro Lifestyle started in 2015 aiming to empower individuals to be smart, practical, and inspired by sharing the things that they need to know.
It also supports authors, SMEs, and start-ups who need help with promotion and mileage for their projects and businesses.
In 2022, My Metro Lifestyle started a campaign about #InspiringFilipinosToRead. This advocacy is geared toward building a stronger interest among Filipinos especially the millennials to read and improved literacy. It is a dream that the younger generation will continue to appreciate books despite all the technology and gadgets available in this digital age.
We also use this platform to support Filipino authors and the publishing industry.
ABOUT THE BLOGGERS
They are a husband and wife team who are both freelance online workers serving as Virtual Assistants and Multimedia Specialists for SMEs and Startups.
Because Clarice spends a lot of time online, she is also updated with the latest promotions, awesome deals, and unique shopping finds. This gave birth to an online community, Filipino Moms Who Budget and Save which features shopping deals, promotions, and inspiration.
They also founded Books Philippines, a community of readers, bookworms, and bibliophiles with over 7,500 members. This group provides support and information for everyone in the publishing industry (readers, booksellers, authors, and publishers)
Val, on the other hand, is more interested in gaming and technology. Thus, My Metro Lifestyle's Youtube Channel is dedicated to DIY tips, tech reviews, instructional materials, and game streaming. Through this platform, My Metro Lifestyle aims to bring out the "tech-savvy" in each one of us.
